I find no use

In waiting a year,

two years, a dozen

for something unsure

you shall forget

you shall find others

i am not so cruel

to keep you forever

birds aren't to be locked up

they need to be free

they've wings to spread out

to bring happiness and glee

lion's aren't to be caged

they need to be free

they've jungles to govern

to protect and to lead

when i have written a hundred poems

a dozen diaries

a handful of letters...

... or at least when hope is gone

i will let go....

Pretty good... I like it!
I love the comparison you made between birds and humans and lions and humans. =) Brilliant! =D

You don't know me.
So don't act like you do.
Don't ask me either,
'Cause I too don't have a clue.

... Evelyn ...
the person i wrote this poem for reminded me of both...

They do indeed suit each other. Keep it up! I must say I like your analogies.
many thanks...

But sometimes it is worth to wait and discover that what you have waited for is even better.

Whatever we do, either good or bad,
will shoot back at us when least expected.
what you've said may be divided into two categories:

a)i wait for the person til he's ready

b)or i wait for someone else

on the first option, i don't even know if there's anything to wait for. What if after he's sorted everything out, he realizes he doesn't like me?

on b, i'd have to get over the guy first neh? when i love, i am loyal. Not even an idea could make me betray the person.

The comment was from the guy-you-are-writing-about perspective .. provided he was the one to leave.
